OBRC's Lactation Rotations

Oklahoma Breastfeeding Resource Center programs are supported by

the Maternal and Child Health Services Title V Block Grant and the Oklahoma State Department of Health.

Lactation Clinical Rotations

OBRC offers a variety of options for health care students & health care professionals to receive lactation-based clinical experiences.  We take one student/professional per week (herein referred to as an "Intern") to come and shadow at three locations, the OU Physicians Breastfeeding Clinic (outpatient), the Oklahoma Mothers' Milk Bank (OMMB), and The Lactation Center (TLC) (inpatient, via the Women's & Newborn Center at OU Children's).  Rotations are scheduled year-round on a first to contact, first served basis.
