Women, Infants & Children Nutrition Program (WIC)

 

WIC provides nutrition services to pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum women. WIC also provides nutrition services for infants and children up to age five. The WIC program is based on the size of the family and the income brought into the home. WIC provides women, infants, and children with nutritious supplemental foods, nutrition education, and referrals for health care.

INTEGRIS hospitals host FREE weekly "Milk Bars" where you can weigh baby and get breastfeeding support.  Anyone can attend no matter where you delivered or who your OB is.  The below are facilitated by a licensed Lactation Consultant.

Oklahoma Breastfeeding Hotline - 1-877-271-6455 (MILK). Available 24 hours a day, you will be asked to leave a confidential message and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) will return your call.

Postpartum Support International (PSI) - 1-800-944-4773. Talk Via Text: 503-894-9453. Services available in English & Spanish. PSI is available 24 hours a day, you will be asked to leave a confidential message and a trained and caring volunteer will return your call or text.
