Jaclyn Huxford, RDN/LD, IBCLC is a dedicated registered dietitian and lactation consultant with over a decade of experience supporting families in their breastfeeding journeys. Passionate about empowering mothers with reliable information and compassionate support, Jaclyn has honed her counseling skills through her extensive work in public health, helping families navigate breastfeeding challenges.
Jaclyn has been instrumental in expanding the reach of the Oklahoma Breastfeeding Hotline, introducing innovative communication methods such as texting and telehealth to better serve families.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Texas State University and has spent the past 10 years specializing in maternal, infant, and child nutrition. Jaclyn is committed to advancing research on the benefits of breastfeeding and is actively involved in helping Oklahoma hospitals achieve Baby-Friendly Designation.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Jaclyn enjoys outdoor activities with her husband, their three young daughters, and the family pug.
